New Wedding Fashion Trends for 2010
Shawls are really useful for all kinds of occasions since they are easy to stick in your shoulderbag if you get too hot. The pashmina wool keeps out the cool weather very well, so instead of dragging around a big jacket on a cool spring or summer evening, a pashmina will suffice as a convenient outer garment.
Shawls have recently become really fashionable as a wedding accessory at marriage ceremonies. The last couple of summertimes in England have been rather awful, so perhaps this has encouraged this new style. White pashminas, as well as cream and gold are popular selections for weddings, and look amazing if all the maids of honor have same colour pashmina shawls.
With a larger shawl, it can also become a convenient little blanket for those arduous journeys. And of course, a shawl can transform into a warm scarf for wintertime too.
There tends to be two types of shawl – the the 70% pashmina / 30% silk pashmina, and the 100% pashmina variety. The non-pure shawl you can purchase at cheaper prices than the pure wool opposite number, but it will be less cozy. It’s up to you as to what you want to use your pashmina shawl for. Is it only for fashion purposes, or ALSO a garment keep you warm too? I advocate pure pashmina shawls to keep you warm.
