Following a record number of suggestions from Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff voted unanimously for the theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ a suggestion made by Saskia Jackson from Hove.Pride in Brighton & Hove advances education to eliminate discrimination and promote equality and diversity against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It promotes understanding of these human rights by facilitating and promoting a bevvy of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also uses its platform to promote and financially support other charitable and voluntary organisations.
